LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Louisville community met with Effective Law Enforcement for All for the first time Wednesday evening, as the independent monitoring team begins its work overseeing Louisville Metro Police Department reform efforts.

ELEFA was selected as the independent monitor for LMPD to fulfill the Community Commitment, Louisville’s version of a consent decree. The Greenberg administration and LMPD committed to police reform and public safety improvements following the Department of Justice abandoning the consent decree with LMPD that was placed under the Biden Administration.
