A tree hurtled from the nearby river into a driver’s windshield Wednesday afternoon, north of Leavenworth in Chelan County.

The tree launched from the river and toward the road before landing in the truck windshield on SR 207 south near Coles Corner, the Washington State Patrol reported via X .

Authorities confirmed the driver sustained injuries.
