CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The two men accused of a deadly shooting outside Angie’s Soul Café in June, will be arraigned in Cleveland Municipal Court Thursday.
Dominick Newby, 20, and Jayshawn Collins, 19, were taken into custody by members of the U.S. Marshals’ Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force early Wednesday morning on E. 58th Street.
Cleveland police said Newby and Collins fatally shot a Maple Heights man during a robbery in the parking lot of the restaurant in the 7800 block of Carnegie Ave. around 2:30 p.m. on June 17.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Patrick Carner, 34.
Restaurant staff told 19 News the victim was a customer who had come to purchase food and was shot while getting in a car.
