PEORIA ( 25News Now ) - An unintentional fire at a garage in Peoria caused an estimated tens of thousands of dollars in damage.

Peoria firefighters were called around 8 p.m. Wednesday to the 800 block of West Thrush Avenue, finding a detached garage with heavy smoke showing.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and confirmed no one was inside.

No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $20,000.
