LONOKE COUNTY, Ark. — A child sexploitation lawsuit has been filed against Roblox Corporation and Snap, Inc. after a now-14-year-old from Lonoke County and his mother alleged that the corporations create unsafe environments for children and enable predators to sexually exploit minors.
National litigation firm Dolman Law Group filed a complaint on behalf of the victim on December 11.
The victim, identified as John Doe, reportedly began using Roblox in 2022. Shortly after joining the popular online gaming platform, Doe allegedly encountered an adult male pretending to be a teen who began grooming him and encouraging Doe to continue their conversations on Snapchat.
