OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - As we head through the evening hours, most of our cooling will take place as temps step back into the upper 20s.

Most of the night will keep us right near that with only a little bit of warming Friday morning.

After peaking around midday Friday in the low 30s, Arctic air will once again rush in and we will fall through the 20s in the afternoon.

By the overnight hours, some light snow will begin north of the metro with the bulk falling on our First Alert 6 Weather Day Saturday.

Most of the snow falls in the morning with a little bit in the early afternoon.

Totals will be less than two inches in the metro with higher amounts as you move north and east.

Parts of west central Iowa could see up to four inches fall.
