BAXTER — With another officer completing field training, Police Chief Matt Maier introduced officer Morgan Attenberger to the Baxter City Council during its Dec. 2 meeting.

“She's done a great job thus far and is a good addition to our department and city,” Maier said.

Attenberger started with the city in July and completed Baxter’s field training, which typically takes four months, in three months time. She’s been working as a patrol officer since October. Maier said that is the benefit that comes with hiring officers with experience. Attenberger has four years of experience. She started with smaller agencies in the Glencoe area before going full time with the Glencoe Police Department.
