PITTSBURGH —
Pittsburgh police say a tip about children being sexually abused led to the discovery of four children living in squalor at 128 Charles Street.
According police, the children were found living with 20 cats, feces in every room, no heat, no beds, and nothing to eat. According to court papers, "the only food they are given comes from their mother, who keeps all food locked in the trunk of her car." Advertisement
India McKnight, the mother of the children, does not live in these conditions with them. Instead, police said she resides a few doors down with her boyfriend, Earl Kenney, a registered sex offender. Court papers show Kenney was convicted of sex crimes against children in 2007 and 2008, and police say he has been abusing McKnight's 15-year-old daughter several times a
