WILMORE, Ky. (WKYT) - Crews responded to a two-vehicle injury crash Thursday evening on North Lexington Avenue in Wilmore.

Units were dispatched around 7:48 p.m. and arrived to find one driver trapped inside a damaged vehicle. The driver and two passengers from the second vehicle were already out when firefighters arrived.

Firefighters removed the entire roof of the truck to reach the trapped driver. That person was then transferred to Jessamine County EMS for further medical care. No word on their current condition.

While the extrication was underway, additional Wilmore Fire Department personnel evaluated and triaged the other three people involved in the crash.
