Three suspects facing charges related to the death of Owen Sound restaurant owner Sharif Rahman more than two years ago have a Owen Sound court appearance Friday.

Robert Evans, 24, Robert Busby Evans, 47, and Barry Evans, 54, have been extradited from the United Kingdom. On Thursday, the OPP and Owen Sound police escorted them from the UK to Ontario, the OPP said Thursday night in a news release.

Police have said 24-year-old Evans Jr. is charged with manslaughter, while his father, Robert Busby Evans Sr., 48, and uncle, Barry Evans, 55, are each charged with accessory after the fact to commit an indictable offence.

Rahman was 44, married and had a young daughter when assaulted on 2nd Avenue East, near his restaurant, on Aug. 17, 2023 about 9:20 p.m. He died a week later in a London, Ont
