(KFVS) - This weekend will mark the coldest air of the season.
The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory for much of the Heartland as temperatures plummet and wind chills dip to zero and minus 10 degrees Sunday morning.
Saturday will remain mostly cloudy with temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s before an arctic blast brings freezing wind chills for Sunday.
While actual high temperatures will range from the mid-teens, the wind chills pose the greatest threat.
Your First Alert Weather Team anticipates wind chills between zero and minus 10 degrees. Exposure to these conditions can lead to frostbite in minutes.
Limit time outdoors, dress in layers, and protect exposed skin. Finish up your errands today, because on Sunday, you’ll want to stay inside.
Much war
