NORFOLK, Va. — As rising costs continue to stretch household budgets, hundreds of military families in Hampton Roads received extra support this holiday season through Operation Homefront’s annual Holiday Meals for Military event.

The nonprofit served 300 pre-registered military families Saturday at the SpringHill Suites in Norfolk, providing meal kits with all the essentials for a traditional holiday dinner, along with gift cards and toys for children.
