MSP ASH Regan has urged the Scottish Government to enforce the law on women’s rights to single-sex spaces without delay in the wake of the Sandie Peggie tribunal. ‌

Regan’s comments come following a partial win by the veteran nurse, who was suspended by NHS Fife after complaining about having to share a changing room with transgender medic Dr Beth Upton. ‌

The judgment last week, found Peggie , 56, from Glenrothes, Fife, had been ­unlawfully harassed by health bosses after the incident at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy on Christmas Eve 2023. ‌
