WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) -- School is back in session for many North Carolina students and that means drivers have to look out for school zones.

One CBS 17 viewer reached out to us saying people can't see the signage in their neighborhood and he's concerned about the risk to students.

CBS 17 went to that Wake Forest neighborhood and witnessed vehicles flying up and down Traditions Grande Boulevard near Envision Middle School. There are no signals or stop signs to slow drivers down.

"Definitely a little bit too fast. I don't think people are realizing that it's a school zone," said Christy Turner.

Chris and Christy Turner walk and drive their children to school. They notice drivers going over the speed limit all too often.
