MANCHESTER, N.H. —
A home in Manchester is damaged after a car crashed into it Monday night.
The fire department said the crash happened shortly before 8 p.m. on Island Pond Road. It said no one was home at the time, but four dogs were inside the house.
News 9 spoke with a relative of the homeowner, who said she was asked to check on the dogs.
"We definitely got a phone call saying, 'Hey, we heard a car crashed into the house. We have four dogs in the house. Can you go check on them?' And we pull up and see this monstrosity of events that unfolded," Taylor Wright said.
The dogs were not hurt. Firefighters said one person was inside the car and that person refused medical treatment.
