MARTINSBURG – Regrounding Our Response Appalachia (RORA) kicked off its West Virginia workshop series on Monday, Aug. 26, at The Ramer Center, serving Region 2. Hosted by Hope in Action Alliance, Inc. with support from The Martinsburg Initiative, the event marked the launch of a statewide training effort aimed at strengthening communities across West Virginia.
RORA is an evidence-based curriculum originally developed in Maryland to address substance use, mental health, and related public health challenges. The program was adapted by West Virginia University (WVU) and recently transitioned to Hope in Action Alliance, Inc., which is carrying the work forward across Appalachia.
