WEST FARGO — Metro residents can walk for a good cause during the local Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's.
The annual event is being held this year on Saturday, Oct. 4, at The Lights, 3150 Sheyenne St. in West Fargo. Registration begins at 9 a.m., the opening ceremony starts at 10 a.m. and the walk kicks off at 10:20 a.m.

In order to fund dementia support programs and research, the Alzheimer's Association is trying to raise $170,000 this year during the event.
