MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - The Minot Police Department has named Capt. Dale Plessas as the department’s first Deputy Chief.
Plessas will be sworn in during a ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 1:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
Plessas served with the Minot Police Department for 24 years, rising through the ranks and most recently serving as captain, investigations commander, and interim police chief.
“I am honored to step into the role of deputy chief and look forward to working alongside Chief Frye as we continue moving this department forward,” Plessas said. “My commitment to the Minot Police Department and the community we serve remains steadfast, and I am excited for the opportunity to contribute in this new capacity.”
