A man suspected of multiple prior ATM theft attempts was arrested early Monday morning after prying open a PNC Bank ATM on McWhinney Boulevard in Loveland, according to his arrest affidavit.

Christopher Madison, who was arrested in a high-risk stop on Interstate 25 in Longmont around 3:23 a.m. Monday, is facing charges of third-degree burglary of a safe or vault, theft between $20,000 and $99,999, and a criminal attempt to commit a class three felony and a class one misdemeanor, according to the arrest affidavit from the Loveland Police Department.
