BEDFORD — A Mitchell man was arrested on September 1, 2025, after police found him in an impaired state at a local McDonald’s.
Brandon Haley, 29, was taken into custody and booked into the Lawrence County Jail on a charge of public intoxication.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed by Bedford Police Officer Sarah Haluda, officers were dispatched to the McDonald’s at 3202 16th Street after a caller reported a man who appeared to be intoxicated or on drugs in the men’s restroom.
When officers arrived, they were directed to the man, identified as Brandon Haley, who was exiting the restroom. Officer Haluda noted that Haley was unable to control his body movements, was grinding his teeth, and was unsteady on his feet. Due to his impaired state, he was immediately removed from the
