CARMEL, Indiana — Police in Carmel are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 17-year-old girl.

Jennifer Delafuente is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 180 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing tennis shoes, jeans, a dark hoodie and a black backpack, the Carmel Police Department said in a social media post .

No additional information on the circumstances, location or timing of her disappearance has been shared by police.

Anyone with information on Delafuente's location is asked to call Carmel PD at 317-571-2580.
