Police in Asheville, North Carolina, say the suspect in a downtown shooting has turned himself in.

Police said that just after midnight Saturday, Juan Francisco Martinez Jr., a convicted felon, shot another man in the leg after they got into a fight. Latest Forecast

Investigators said there was a disturbance involving several people at a business.

Police said the people involved in the fight then went one block away to a parking lot where a second fight happened.

During this incident, Martinez retrieved a large-caliber handgun from a vehicle and fired at another man, police say.
