SEYMOUR, Conn. (WFSB) - The Seymour Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a house fire on Great Hill Road.

The fire broke out at 8:03 a.m. at 84 Great Hill Road.

When firefighters arrived, they saw smoke coming from the back of the home and confirmed a working basement fire.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control at around 8:31 a.m.

Two residents were home at the time. Thankfully, no one was injured.
