SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Another class of greats from the game of basketball are being inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame this weekend.

“You have a relationship when it’s a local person. You have a relationship and it’s fun to watch them go through their career and evolve,” said Marty Geman, a basketball fan from Denver.

Geman has been watching basketball for decades and loves the Nuggets. She and her husband are huge Carmelo Anthony fans and have some fond memories of when he played. “At one point, we had floor seats and I’m sure Carmelo was playing and my youngest son was about nine months old and we were sitting on the floor seats and I was holding him in my arms and he ended up on the Jumbotron together,” she added.
