SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The annual Ride to Remember returned to the streets of western Massachusetts and Connecticut on Saturday, paying respect to the men and women who lost their lives in the line of duty.

After a first responder puts their life on the line for us but doesn't come home at the end of their shift, it scares their loved ones the most.

"The thing is, I had dreams," said Doris Beauregard-Shecrallah, widow of fallen Springfield officer Alain J. Beauregard. "God warned me and He gave me a heads up, He said, 'This is what's coming.' He sort of prepared me and gave me that strength."

Alain Beauregard, Aaron Pelletier, and Bobby Garden are just a few fallen officers remembered at the 14th annual Ride to Remember, gone but never forgotten.
