GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Detroit Lions were stuck in check-down city, with nearly 75% of their rush attempts getting hit behind the line of scrimmage.

It’s one of those games where some of the offensive stats coming out of an ugly loss are somehow even worse than expected. The Lions lost their opener to the Green Bay Packers 27-13. They scored their lone touchdown of the day with under a minute left while trailing by three possessions.
