AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - We’re learning new details about a shooting that left two people dead in the parking lot of Best Buy in Augusta on Sunday.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says 37-year-old Melissa Cui Domingo and 74-year-old Elizabeth Cui Domingo, both of Evans, died from gunshot wounds on Sunday evening.

Deputies confirm Elizabeth was Melissa’s mother.

They were pronounced dead at 6:47 p.m. Sunday by the Richmond County Coroner’s Office.

The suspect, 37-year-old Hajir Talebzadeh, suffered an injury and was transported to Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center, where he is listed as stable.

Once released, he will be transported to the Charles B. Webster Detention Center. The sheriff’s office says warrants are being obtained on Talebzadeh for murder.
