Shamrock Rovers forced to switch Tallaght TV Cup semi-final after Leinster Rugby double-booking

Shamrock Rovers women will have to find an alternative venue – or date – for this weekend’s FAI Cup final clash against league champions Athlone Town as Leinster Rugby are due to play Cardiff there in a pre-season friendly.

The FAI are exploring alternative arrangements with Rovers hoping for a satisfactory resolution after the South Dublin County Council venue was double-booked.
