Detectives are questioning a woman who allegedly killed a 31-year-old woman in a domestic-related fight on a Near South Side street Monday morning, police said.

Police said the two women got into a fight on the 2200 block of South State Street around 9 a.m. Monday, when one of them took out a gun. The second woman, whose identity wasn’t immediately available, was shot twice in the face, police sources said.

She was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital shortly afterward, according to police. Wentworth Area detectives are investigating the shooting.
