There aren't many occasions when a middle school band gets to play a popular TV jingle in public — but when McDonald's comes to town, the Science Hill School band was "lovin'" the opportunity.

The new McDonald's location in Science Hill, located at the intersection of North U.S. 27 and East Ky. 635, held its grand opening celebration on Monday morning, and invited the band students from the school, located just northeast of the restaurant across the highway, to perform.
