HOUSTON (KIAH) — Two Humble ISD teams moved up in the top 10 for Class 6A in the latest Texas high school football polls.
Summer Creek moved up a spot to No. 5 in 6A after the Bulldogs beat Houston Lamar 58-14 last weekend. And district rival Atascocita moved up two spots to No. 6 after the Eagles got a dominating win over Katy, 52-33.
Ridge Point (No. 7) and Dickinson (No. 10) are the other Houston-area teams in the top 10. Southlake Carroll remains No. 1 in the 6A poll, followed by Duncanville, North Crowley and Allen.
Pearland and The Woodlands are also ranked at No. 12 and 13, respectively, while Bridgeland moved up three spots to No. 17 after a 42-14 win over Katy Tompkins.
