AUSTIN (KXAN) — Television crews have cameras everywhere during a live sports broadcast, and they see just about everything. Texas quarterback Arch Manning learned that the hard way during Texas' 38-7 win over San Jose State.
The broadcast showed a tight shot of Manning grimacing after he threw a pass, suggesting he might be in pain or discomfort. The game continued, without interruption, and Manning stayed in the game and looked fine. He finished the game with 295 yards and four touchdowns and an interception on 19 of 30 passing.
That didn't stop people from speculating about a potential injury, however, and Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian emphatically denied it both after the game and during a press conference Monday.
