FARMINGTON, Utah (ABC4) — On September 5, 2025, 13-year-old Connor Leonard was struck and killed by a car while riding on his e-bike. Today, his family released a statement on their loss.

According to the Farmington police Department, Connor was riding his e-bike near 600 S and 1525 W around 4:30 p.m. Another vehicle was traveling north on 1525 W towards 600 S and struck Connor.

Witnesses told law enforcement that Connor was bleeding and not breathing, and they attempted to resuscitate him. When law enforcement arrived, they continued to render aid before transporting Connor to the hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital.

The driver reportedly remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation. His identity has not been released at this time.
