ROGERS, Ark. — Tony Mark Pittman, the man who threatened to rape and murder Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, has been sentenced to six years in prison, according to the Benton County Prosecutor's Office.

Pittman was sentenced on Sept. 8 after pleading guilty to first-degree terroristic threatening, second-degree stalking, and making a terroristic threat.

Court documents say Pittman called Arkansas State Police ( ASP ) dispatch multiple times in January 2024, stating that he wanted to murder and rape the governor's family, saying, "I'm going to butcher that ... governor for a billion dollars."
