On August 29, the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Department, along with Texas DPS Troopers, conducted a traffic stop on a car on northbound Highway 59 near Woodland Hills Golf Course, south of Nacogdoches.

Details of The Pursuit

The vehicle was occupied by Shydaja Williams, 26, of Nacogdoches, and Roy Casey Jr., 30, of Nacogdoches . Williams, the driver of the vehicle, failed to stop promptly, and a pursuit ensued.

During the vehicle pursuit, Casey began disposing of what was believed to be numerous ounces of powder cocaine and multiple pounds of methamphetamine onto the roadway.
