PROVO, Utah (ABC4 Sports) - It is a little unusual to have a bye week in just the third week the season, but BYU head coach Kalani Sitake knows how to handle it.

"We want to still keep the rhythm of our of our offense and defense," Sitake said on Monday. "I mean, we knew about this bye a long time ago, so we prepped for it. We know what we're going to do in practice. We've got to do enough to keep on top of it and keep consistent. But then at the same time, we still want to gain our legs back and get fresh."

BYU is coming off a 27-3 dominant victory over Stanford, one week after a 69-0 shellacking of Portland State to open the season.

The Cougars defense has still yet to give up a touchdown this season, surrendering just three total points in two games, the fewest in the entire nation.
