LEESVILLE, La. (KALB) - Leesville and Tioga have had some great battles across the past decade, and it’s our 5th Quarter Game of the Week for Week 2!

“It’s always a close game, and it’s turned into a heck of a series with us and Tioga,” Leesville head coach Robbie Causey said. “Even in games where there might be a two-touchdown difference, it doesn’t change until late in the game.”

The Wampus Cats are coming off a back-and-forth season opener loss on their home field to Sam Houston.

“We needed experience for the young kids,” Causey reflected. “I think at one time we had 18 new starters on the field, and every rep is important that they get for a long season.”
