Rob Edwards has told Sammy Silvera that as long as he continues to work hard and keep his levels high, he will still have a big role to play for Middlesbrough this season, after an impressive start.

Silvera has transformed his fortunes at Boro this summer - moving from a player who looked certain to be surplus to requirements, to starting Boro’s first four games of the season. Such was his increasing importance at the time, he was left out of the Carabao Cup squad altogether too, with the Boro boss needing to keep him fresh for league games.
