CENTREVILLE, MI – Buckle up, St. Joseph County.

The busiest week of the year in St. Joseph County is on tap, as the 174th St. Joseph County Grange Fair begins its eight-day run Sunday, Sept. 14.

Michigan’s second-to-last county fair will offer a number of familiar vendors and events, but there’s a new name and location for its most-visited attraction.

Mindy Pleune, a fair board member and its marketing director, said the Miracle of Life birthing tent is now called Tiny Tails birthing barn. It was moved to an area north of the duck pond and now offers nearly twice the space it had at its original location at the northeast end of the 150-acre fairgrounds. It will also feature baby animals in addition to newborns.
