Police locked down a street in the Cowcaddens area of Glasgow last night after a group of people had 'taken unwell'.
Glasgow Live can now confirm that a 52-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene on Cambridge Street , Glasgow, at around 8.10pm on Monday, September 8. His next of kin is aware.
A further three people were involved in the incident, believed to be drug-related. A 37-year-old man remains in hospital where is condition is stable, and two others, a 38-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man, were treated by ambulance staff at the scene.
The road reopened this morning after it was closed to motorists and members of the public overnight.
Enquiries are ongoing however, there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
