HOUSTON — It happened yet again.
Houston police said a truck on the Katy Freeway struck the bridge at Houston Avenue. The eastbound lanes were mostly blocked off.
Houston TranStar reported the incident involved heavy truck and a lost load. There were no injuries reported but hazmat crews headed out to the crash..
Multiple lanes were blocked and it is unclear when they will reopen.
This follows a string of recent incidents at the same bridge.
Saturday night, a semi-truck hauling an excavator hit the Houston Avenue bridge on I-10 eastbound, which closed some lanes for hours.
Just days before that, a truck struck the bridge, causing the big rig to jackknife and lose its load. Traffic was backed up for over six hours. The woman behind the truck whose car was damaged shared her story
