(WJHL) - After a week of nominations, we now know the businesses that will compete for the title of Tri-Cities Best Biscuits and Gravy.

In all previous Tri-Cities Best competitions, only four businesses advanced to the voting round. Due to a tie for the 4th highest number of nominations, five businesses will advance to the voting round of the Tri-Cities Best Biscuits and Gravy competition.

Those five businesses in alphabetical order are: • Betty's Stockyard Cafe (Kingsport) • Bluegill's Cafe (Gray) • Maw's Place (Buchanan County) • Randall's Restaurant (Church Hill) • Whistle Pig Country Store (Lee County)

You can vote for your favorite of the five once per day until Sept. 21. The winner will be featured on News Channel 11, WJHL+ and WJHL.com.
