Two area road repair projects could affect motorists’ daily commute in the coming days.

Bodcau Dam Road closure

The Bossier Parish Highway Department has temporarily closed Bodcau Dam Road starting this morning to begin culvert replacement work. The closure is expected to remain in effect through Friday.

The work zone is located approximately 1.7 miles north of state Highway 157 from the Bellevue end and 5.5 miles south of state Highway 157 from the northern end of Bodcau Dam Road.

During the closure:

Addresses 100 – 950 Bodcau Dam Road will be accessible from Highway 157 at Bellevue.

Addresses 951 – 3000 Bodcau Dam Road will be accessible from Highway 157 at the northern end.
