A boy killed in a police chase has been remembered by his family as their “greatest love”.

Ryelee Brain, 17, was the front seat passenger in an allegedly stolen car that crashed on the New England Hwy at Scone, in the Upper Hunter region of NSW, about 11.55pm on Saturday.

“We the family are in awe at just how many peoples’ lives, young and old, Ryelee touched,” his family said in a statement.

“He was deeply loved as a son, a brother, a cousin, a friend, a nephew, a grandson, and a dad.

“His cheeky smile, his huge heart, and his infectious personality will never be forgotten, nor will his long blonde locks and baby blue eyes.”

There were four other people in the allegedly stolen car when Ryelee was killed, including a 14-year-old driver.
