A Danville man has been arrested in connection with a carjacking that happened Thursday morning in the city.

Ni’Majae Syncere Logan, 25, of Danville was arrested in Reidsville, North Carolina, and has been charged with carjacking, grand larceny, credit card theft and illegal use of tear gas, according to a news release from the Danville Police Department.

The incident occurred just after 10 a.m. in the 300 block of Martin Avenue.

The Danville Police Department had help from multiple law enforcement agencies in the case.

Logan was out on bond for charges in Eden, North Carolina, related to a similar incident that occurred in that area in August. He is also wanted on charges in Raleigh, North Carolina, and in Georgia, according to the news release.
