6-foot-8 volleyball star goes viral as she dominates high school competition

A 6-foot-8 high school volleyball sensation out of Iowa is making the rounds on social media.

Ryanne Brubaker, 16, is taking the sport by storm as a dominant middle blocker for the undefeated Grundy Center varsity girls volleyball team.

The junior starter, who came off the bench last year, has 80 kills in 25 sets and counting in the 2025 season. 3

The Spartans beat AGWSR high school, 3-0, on Thursday to improve their record to 9-0.

Brubaker’s Instagram states that she’s 6-foot-8 and two-thirds inches. 3
