CINCINNATI (WVUE) - Ex-LSU National Champion quarterback Joe Burrow has been one of the NFL’s best in his position since entering the league, but his time as a pro has been marred with injuries.
Burrow will go through another setback as ESPN reports his turf toe injury, suffered in Sunday’s 31-27 Bengals victory over Jacksonville, will keep him sidelined for a minimum of three months.
That timeline keeps Burrow out for most of the current season.
Burrow’s injury history in the NFL includes a right wrist ligament tear in 2023, an MCL sprain in 2022, a dislocated finger in 2021, and a torn ACL/MCL/PCL/meniscus in 2020 (rookie season).
The Bengals are two games under .500 and average under 20 points per game without Burrow as their starting quarterback.
