Cincinnati Bengals star quarterback Joe Burrow left Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars during the second quarter with a turf toe injury.
Adam Schefter provided an update on Burrow Monday morning, and unfortunately the news isn’t good.
The NFL insider shared that Burrow needs toe surgery and will miss a minimum of three months.
“Joe Burrow needs toe surgery. He is out a minimum of three months. It is official. He’s going to have that toe surgery. And he’s going to be lost,” Schefter said on Get Up Monday morning. “The question will be whether he’ll be back this season. But there’s a real possibility that Joe Burrow has played his last down this season for the Bengals.
“He’s going to obviously want to try to come back early. But that is going to be challenging to do. ..
