SOUTHERN Ill. (KFVS) - Two free Senior Health Fairs will be held in southern Illinois later in September.

Organizers say there will be health providers and senior service vendors to help provide health screenings, information and prizes for Heartland seniors.

On September 23, the Marion Senior Fair will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the HUB Recreation Center at 917 West Main Street.

The following day, on Sept. 24, the Carbondale Senior Fair will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Carbondale Civic Center, 200 South Illinois Avenue.

State Senator Dale Fowler (R-Harrisburg) is partnering with State Representatives Paul Jacobs and Patrick Windhorst to host the senior fairs.
