BATON ROUGE — LSU football quarterback Garrett Nussmeier has been dealing with an upper body injury through the first three weeks of the 2025 college football season, coach Brian Kelly revealed to media members Monday.
In his weekly news conference, Kelly told reporters Nussmeier has had "some tightness" in his torso that he's been combatting since preseason practice.
"He's been slowed a little bit with a torso injury," Kelly said. "He's fighting through it and he's getting better. He's not going to be able to really shut it down until we get to the (off) week." WEST WEEKS INJURY UPDATE
A lot has been made in the media and the Tiger fan base about Nussmeier's performances the past two weeks and how he has looked at times during wins over Louisiana Tech and Florida.
Kelly said the
